

Eastern Docks
The Eastern Docks of the Port of Dover are where the roll-on roll-off car ferries berth in Dover. The main operators are DFDS Seaways and P&O Ferries.

DFDS Seaways run a Dover to Dunkerque route with 3 ships and up to 12 ferry departures a day from Dover. They also run Dover to Calais route shared with LD Lines. This route has 1 ship oprting up to 5 departures form Dover a day. This ammount of departures will double soon. On the 27th April DFDS/LD Lines will operate another vessel from Brittany Ferries.

P&O Ferries operate a Dover to Calais route with six passanger vessels. They have up to 29 ferris departing Dover daily. In 2011 the gain bran new ship Spirit of Britain and in 2012 her sister Spirit of France, causing the loss of Pride of Dover which is laid up in Tilbury and the possible loss of Pride of Calais.
