TransEuropa Ferries acquire Pride of Calais

It has today been reported that the former P&O Ferries vessel the Pride of Calais, which orated the Dover to Calais route sucessfully for the 25 years, has been chartered out to TransEuropa Ferries for the next 3 years. Following her withdrawal form service last October she was laid up in Tilbury. After undergoing a refit and livery change at Antwerp, Belgium she will operate the Ramsgate to Ostend route from mid-January! She will also be renamed Ostend Spitit.
